The bluff by emma st clair6/29/2023 Team A - Zackery Cowley, James Clark and Daniel Anderson - won the college silver medal in automated manufacturing technology.Joseph McDaniel of Gadsden received a Skill Point Certificate in carpentry.Benjamin Gissendaner of Gadsden won a Skill Point Certificate in collision repair technology.Rebecca Gaston of Gadsden won the college gold medal in job interview.Several Gadsden State students were among career and technical students throughout the country who won honors at the 2019 SkillsUSA Championships held June 26-27 in Louisville, Kentucky. Clair of Leesburg earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing. Angela Haight and Shannon Rich, both of Southside, earned Bachelor of Science degrees in business-health care management and nursing, respectively. Daniel Sherrouse of Gadsden earned a Bachelor of Science in cybersecurity and information assurance. The online, nonprofit university held its 70th (Orlando, Florida) 71st (Cincinnati, Ohio) and 72nd (Anaheim, California) commencement ceremonies this year to celebrate the graduation of more than 22,000 students from across the country. Four Northeast Alabama residents have earned degrees from Western Governors University.
